Alignment, Breathing and Your Core

We had an incredible evening of learning and movement at our Alignment, Breathing and your Core event on Friday 6th Feb. You know it’s serious when our physio Magda has her pelvis, something which gave Emily of Hatched.Aquanatal a flashback to her anatomy studies 😅. Emily discussed the physiological changes that our bodies go through during and after pregnancy, it’s an immense transformation.

A massive thank you to the specialists who collaborated with me in delivering this event and the women who came out to learn and support. 

Our nutritionists Sami Rossi and Natalie Morrow had cleared us for an evening of cake 😅. I joke but we learnt a lot about healthy fuelling, and how there’s a tendency to under eat / restrict carbs etc. Natalie discussed nutritional needs for training and exercise and Sami covered nutritional needs through perimenopause and menopause. Such powerful insights across the board.

We started and ended the evening with breathing - led by the wonderful Liga and Nat of Find Your Flouu shared a very helpful framework to help us with mindfulness and finding happiness in the day to day.

A massive shout out to our Landlord and creative hub - Vulcanworks, for the beautiful space and supportive staff. Proud to be part of this community.
